I am an EcoBroker/Real Estate Broker living and working in Encinitas, Ca. with my wife, Kelly and daughter, Kaya.
After leaving the corporate world of Blackberries, Powerpoint decks and mission statements, I began my real estate career in 2002. I started a company (Aloha Properties) and bought and sold another (Sterling Real Estate Company) within a year. Now I am on my own and loving it.
I started more seriously upon my green path after seeing "An Inconvenient Truth". That really woke me up to 2 things:
1. One of the biggest polluters of our environment is the building and home construction industries.
2. I work in an industry (RE) that is directly involved with #1 above.

So I did research, got my EcoBroker certification and have learned and continue to learn how to make homes/buildings more energy efficient and healthier. I was the 1st full time EcoBroker in San Diego and out of about 20,000 Realtors in SD, there's now 8 of us.

Outside of work, I spend most of my free time with Kelly and Kaya.
